New Brunswicks third circuit Series tournament for the 2009-10 season. There will be a minimum prize purse of $600 for the under 23 event. This is a full point tournament and is open to New Brunswick residents only who are members of Badminton New brunswick. Entry deadline is Saturday Feb.13th 2010. This information is for Under 23,19, and 16 only!! If you are under 14 please see the other Neguac Under 14 tournament. It is a separate document with different information and times.

Information for Under 23,19, and 16 only!!!!!! 

 

DATES:                           February 20th and 21st, 2010

 

PRIZES:                          $600 Minimum Prize purse for under 23 Category. Prize purse divided between 1st and 2nd place finishers only. Players must actually win a match to receive award.

                                          Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for Under 19 and 16

                                          Prizes for fourth place and Consolation winners for Under 19 and 16

 

ENTRY FEE:                 The entry fee of $40 per player for under 23, 19, and 16 categories. Entry fees will only be accepted on-line by credit card through PayPal.

 

ENTRY DEADLINE:    Saturday, February 13th, 2010

                        Be sure to watch tutorial on how to register and select your permanent personal tournament ID!!!!!!!  You will  also need to know your partner’s ID number to register for mixed and doubles.

 

CONDITIONS OF

PARTICIPATION:        The tournament is open to BNNB Players Members Only!!!! If you have not paid your BNNB annual membership fees then you will not be permitted to compete in BNNB sanctioned events. To become a member visit www.bnnb.ca and click on Membership Program in the navigation box on the left hand side of the Home Page in the website. Look for the Players membership Program Tutorial and follow instructions. All players must be under the maximum age of 23, 19 or 16 as of Dec. 31st 2009 - respective to the category they compete in. No bronze matches for under 23 events.

SEEDING & DRAW:    Seeding & draw done by Tournament Software. Main round matches will be best 3 games of 21points. All Consolation will be 1 game to 21 points. There will be no consolation in the mixed event.

 

EYEWEAR:                    The use of polycarbonate safety eyewear is strongly recommended.

                       

 

Services:                         Canteen service available on Saturday (sub, pizza, lasagna, soup etc.)

SCHEDULE:                  Saturday  Feb.20th - 8:15 am – Warm-up - DOORS OPEN AT 8am

                                          - 9:00 am – Singles followed by Doubles then mixed

                                          Last round of Matches called at 7:45pm

                                          Sunday     Feb.21st  - 8:00 AM – Warm-Up

   -  8:30 am  - Play continues followed by Finals in the order of Mixed, Ladies Singles, men’s Singles, Ladies Doubles, Men’s Doubles.

NOTE:  If a player needs a partner then you must request one when registering online. If your partner fails to show up at the tournament then a registered player in need of a partner may be available to you at the tournament. Players can select any available partner who has also registered and has requested a partner. NO last minute entries of non-registered players will be accepted. It will be too late to request a partner change after the registration deadline so be sure of your selection of partners.
